Photographer's Note

I came across this photo when doing some Spring housecleaning on my hard drive and knew instantly I needed to post it. This vista point is a favorite for tourists visiting San Francisco, justly so since the views are spectacular. Some time ago I posted San Francisco Skyline VIII taken from this location. Here, I walked closer to the bluff, marking the edge of Marin Headland, the northern shore of the Golden Gate. As you can see, I was blessed with wonderful late afternoon light, a crystal clear sky attributed, no doubt, to the coolness of the winter day, as well as distant clouds. This is the Golden Gate Bridge at its best, at least in my opinion. Enjoy a visit to this lovely corner of the world!
