Photographer's Note
The month of May in the Walt Disney World Resort is celebrated with the Epcot Flower and Garden Show. During this time, the experimental prototype community of tomorrow showcases the latest and greatest advances and methods for growing and showing flowers, vegetables, fruits and other green things.
Located in the Land Pavillion is a ride through a series of experimental greenhouses, and that is where I found this new tree - a tomato "tree." This isn't the best photo, I know, but I tried to show the tomatos hanging from above, and the bucket of tomatos in the foreground. These juicy fruits are featured in some of Epcot's best restaurants. I'll let you imagine what this method of growing might be good for the tomatos. :o)
The hanging dipping gourds can be viewed again at my next posting: "Hanging Gourds and Hidden Mickeys"

What an inturesting way to grow tomatos. I might have to try it my self. I imagine that there is a high yeld off the plants because the get so much lightt. What is growing to the right hand side of them?
Thanks for a facinating shot, Cheers Robin

A highly spectacular tomato plant, Michelle. I find it amazing that the entire plant is originating from just one stem. Although the tomatoes are well visible in the plant and in the bucket, it seems you've gone for too much in one image - leaving too much empty floor in between. Perhaps a couple of steps left and a portrait format would have taken care of that. Anyhow showing this image most certainly live up to the standards of TE. Well done!
