Photographer's Note
The Walt Disney World Monorail system, from the driver's seat, the joy of the journey.
I recently received this lovely note on comings and goings from a friend of ours, and wanted to share his words:
"Arrival and departure are only two elements of the same journey, and each one of us should perceive at which of the two our steps have led us.
"I'm gone, but I know life will bring me other arrivals, and some of them in already known grounds, in which case they're simply called returns. And meanwhile the trek keeps broadening our view on the world, and therefore lifting up our souls.
"That's why life is so beautiful. And that's why we should constantly try to recognize that little voice of wisdom whispering in the middle of the croud.
"See you one of these days :o)"
- with apologies to our friend, whom I did not ask permission to share his words. I hope he won't mind.

The Disney Monorails have been used since 1971, when Disney World in Orlando opened. Tourists ride from the Ticket Center and the major resort hotels to the Magic Kingdom theme park and back. Another longer track takes folks to Epcot Center. More information on these rail systems is available at http://www.wdwinfo.com/Transportation/monorail.htm.

The child's face is great here. Her waving hand and her holding the ticket is really sweet. The reflection on the galss usually are disturbing but here it gives the viewer the sensation of being in the train too,
The framing is good as the motion of the other train.
Nice title and note.

Hi Ma ;-)) I thot there was cigar ash on my monitor but a split second later I saw that is must been flecks on the curved windows of the railcar. Vital capture here with a very nice and fitting text. I love the fun and dynamics in this capture. And thanxalot for the URL I'm fascinated by rail travel.
Have a great start of the summer Michelle!
Bert.

A nice capture of the child enjoying the ride inside the monorail, Michelle. I'll add a Chinese proverb, once use in the adverts of Swissair, to your friend's note: "He who loves his child, sends him on his journeys". I've tried to live by that with both my son and my daughter (and succeeded well). This child and the opposite train are well rendered and composed, but I think the reflections are a bit too strong and conceal most of the fact this is a monorail. So I'll try to reduce them in a WS. Well done!
