Photographer's Note
Bahia Honda Key and State Park, in the middle of the beautiful Florida Keys. "Bahia Honda" means "deep bay" in Spanish, and the word "key" of course comes from the Spanish "cayo" - little flat island, loosely translated.
This is my last photo before the Summer, just as our camping trip to the State Park was our last family vacation here in Florida before the big move this fall. If all goes as planned, we'll be in Toronto by the end of Autumn. This is defintely an island to visit and get away from it all for a while, as I hope you can see by the photo. The quiet isolation during the off season was wonderful, and something we will all remember always.

Beautiful and beauty spot. Well showed. The fission of frame pleases to me

A nice summery shot Michelle - makes me envious because on this side of the world it's all autumn leaves and the first of the frosty mornings! Maybe I'd crop a bit of the sea, but I like the palms outlined against the sky. Good frame too. Have a great summer break with the family. Do I gather that your Autumn move to Canada will be permanent?

A beautiful and almost tropical shot, Michelle. It all looks very appealing - the sea, the beachside palmtrees and the blue sky. The Florida Keys are most certainly one of those things I would like to experience once in my life. I'm not so sure about Toronto... ;o) Maybe because I live in a part of the world which is very similar to southern Canada - and I assure you this has many advantages too. Although not the ones you so convincing have presented here. Very well done!
Take care and have a nice Summer!
Best regards,
Kaj

Beautiful shot, Michelle. I like the patterns that the palm trees make - they remind me of exploding fireworks. Your point of view is also good - as if it were taken while swimming to shore. Nice colours. Well framed.

Very nice view Michelle and beautiful place to be indeed. I like the framing with the palm trees, very good quality picture, well seen. Thanks for stopping by and glad to hear from you. Enjoy the rest of summer and have a pleasant trip to Toronto.

A scene I can always relate to; a white sandy beach on a hot day with coconut trees with its inviting shades.Admired the effort you took this shot from Michelle;you take the trouble for something you imagined. My only nit is the buildings on the left.Man made objects especially those technically correct ones but hopelessly unimaginative don't mixed well with Mother Nature.

Hi Michelle,
The colors are nice, good composition and perspective. A place to be compared to the weather on my area today.
