Photographer's Note

This is a fisherman's village at Pozuelo, that is in the south of the Island near the city of Guayama. This "safe port" is in the mangroove next to the bay. Tourists dont visit this area very often.

Welcome to TrekEarth, Jose.
Pleasant and interesting first posting, I like the boats in the foreground and the way the eye is drawn through the channel of water between the mangroves and into the distance. Nice bright but natural colours and nice reflections from the water's surface on the underside of the boats.
I look forward to seeing more of your pictures.

Good morning, Jose, I like how you have composed this shot with the perspective lines of the boats indicating the opening out into the bay and the distant mountain. Even the "fringes" of the dock boards assist the directional lines. The water reflections make an interesting pattern on the hulls, too. I'd say the weather's just right for a little fishing!
