Photographer's Note

Not often have I found plants so green as this visit to Arches National Park. Many of the plants were in bloom with intersting flowers. Cactus, shrubs, trees, grasses all with flowers.

This was taken near Tapestry Arch. Now I don't know who names the arches and landmarks, I'm still trying to figure out why the name tapestry. I guess it's from the same people who named the color of my car Premium Amethist.

I exposed to get maximum textural detail in the foreground, and prayed to keep the sky from blowing out. I used PS color space and the least contrast available with the camera. The color histograms look interesting in red rock country.

Post processing esentially was cropping.
