Hi Rosie,
Don't worry about the bright light ... one can come across many photos on TE that are technically pretty good ... but the thing i like about your gallery is the way you excell in capturing the emotions!
I just thought that maybe it is a good idea to keep some flaws in the quality of the photos ... for me when the photos tend to become technically perfect, they start to lack the emotions .. in other words they become too inhumane to be true ... (I hope you will understtand what I am trying to convey here)

uh, this one really brings back memories of when we were snapping with polaroid cameras - a really good one for teh series!
Little devil is sooo cute.

You need no apology for the very bright light, Rosalie. The photo is a gem of a polaroid shot, the kind of use that Mr. Polaroid or whatever his name was had envisioned for it...spontaneous, fleeting, colorful moments capturable in a square format that was reminiscent of its medium-format negative film predecessors. A perfect moment of sun, lake and kiddie frivolity.

This series is so cool, Rosie, very clever and original. I love the way you managed to re-create that Plaroid "look". Fabulous job right down to the slightly faded colors and yes, soft image.
A delightful contribution to the site.

I love the " Polaroid Life" theme, and I think that this picure of the little boy is very suiting. He looks so happy and ready for some summer fun. When you think of polaroid, you do tend to think of summer, don't you? Great job!
