Photographer's Note
Plotterkill Creek has a big drop on it's way to the Mohawk River. My dear departed chocolate lab can be seen in the lower right hand corner.

Great picture, many different shapes and color shades to see. I like how you can see three different levels of water moving.

Hi Tom,
I like the transparency of the water. Your dog blends so well with the red of the rocks that I might has missed his intent stare at the water. What was his name? We had two different black labs, Boats hated the water (and everyone except Larry) while Mike,a newfie/lab mix, could not be kept ouy of the water.
I hope your loss has had some time to soften. Dogs are true friends, we still talk about Jiggs and Fred as we fondly remember them. Right now we're babysitting Tucker, a big, steamroller of an airedale. His main virture is is his boundless enthusiasm and his eagerness for company.

Love the colors and textures of those shelf rocks .. and your lush greens .. if you don't have a polarizer you should pick one up .. not even for the shutter speed stuff .. it would do wonders for that water .. it would help pull back the glare and increase the transparency ..
I lost the second of my two Pyrenees this last summer .. they were my hiking companions for years .. now I have Chocolate curly coated retriever mix named Otter. ....
take care.

The colors seem a little over saturated on this one, sorry mate, the waterfall is blown out. Sorry about this mate. Love the POV and subject though

Hello Tom,
A good point of view gives a fine composition with the stream!
I like how the waterflow comes my direction, in this well composed image with good details!

Tom
Difficult lighting situation with the bright water and the dark rocks/shale. The water suffered I'm afraid in this situation. Good POV and I like the inclusion of your Chocolate Lab.
