Photographer's Note
Well, not really ice, but actually calcite. Most cave formations are calcite, but contain various impurities which give them their colors. This formation, for unknown reasons, is quite pure and therefore white.
This picture was taken at the Caverns of Sonora. This cave has some very pretty formations and is worth a visit if you're ever in the area.
