Photographer's Note
"Ebony and ivory live together in perfect harmony
Side by side on my piano keyboard, oh lord, why don’t we?
We all know that people are the same where ever we go
There is good and bad in ev’ryone,
We learn to live, we learn to give
Each other what we need to survive together alive."
-Paul McCartney
This is a macro follow up photo to the one I posted yesterday of the girl playing piano at home. Piano Lesson The idea for a TrekEarth photo here is to present a family home part of the world, complete with family photo reflections in the shiny synthetic piano keys.
Comments and critiques always welcome.

Bonjour Michelle, I find the Black and white idea for your picture an excellent choice. I like very much the angle you chose for this keybord, It give a very interessting perspective. J'adore!!

Great song by Paul McCartney performed with Stevie Wonder, and a lovely photo to match it, Michelle. Very good diagonal perspective and good use of DOF, and together with the reflection in the white keys you get a very original and effective photo. Well done.
Also, I think the reflection makes it a candidate for the scavenger hunt, don't you think? ;-)

Very good picture, very good angle and very good title, I think that you should do a little levels correction.

I like the idea of your picture, as if leading to infinity: an infinity of music can be played, also the black and white combination is good.

Superbe perspective Michelle. La profondeur et le choix du titre sont vraiment parfait. Et je suis tout à fait d'accord avec norbert concernant le reflet : ta photo est tout à fait indiquée pour le scav. hunt.
Superbe !

You always find a way to appreciate your photos more by your descriptions. I like this picture, but think it is a little dark (but so slightly). Perhaps a little more contrast or a slight curves modification (if allowed) would give it some extra punch.
An excellent entry for the scavenger hunt (Summer'04)

I don't like that much the picture. IMO the DOF is too small and I would enlarge the frame. But, when you recall PMC, well, I have to say that he is absolutely my favourite singer. I've learned more english from his songs than with all the teachers at school :-)

Cool shot. It's like a black and white photo but not. Good choice of angle, and although I like the DOF it would be interesting to see the same shot with a higher f/stop. Thanks Giuseppe

Very nice picture that remember this wonderful music! Good to listen, good to see, good to dream about! Why not?
Excelent idea, very well executed, presenting nice sharpness and lights. There are some paints on the wall reflected on the piano. You did a nice framing and you choosed a nice POV! Well done!
All the best!
