Photographer's Note

This is the evening storm photo I took before really trying to experiment with lightning, and it looks like the suburbs are about to be submerged by a great wave. I really enjoy watching these great summer storms roll over us, almost nightly. Again, this one didn't rain on us, but we did get a great lightning storm. In this photo, you can see a little of that lightning in the clouds, at the lower center. This is daily life in one of the fastest growning counties in Florida. This subdivision full of family homes was a cattle field and cypress swamp just 10 years ago.

Taken with the little camera's settings on partly cloudy skies, and second brightest setting for brightness.
