Photographer's Note

Florida is one of the fastest growing states in the nation, and is now the fourth largest state in population. In the last ten years, six counties have increased in residents by more than 50%, and one of those is where I live - Osceola County. The small town of St. Cloud (named for a city in France) is one of the fastest growing towns in Osceola county, and is rapidly becoming a "bedroom town" for the many jobs in the big city of Orlando, in nearby Orange county. Because of the rapid growth in immigration to the area from other states, territories, and even countries, we are blessed with a beautiful diversity of children in the neighborhood.
These four girls were "hanging out" in one of the girl's daddy's pickup truck for the evening. I thought they looked so pretty together that I asked if I could take their photo. By the way, none of these are mine. ;o)
The summer blooming shrub behind them is called crepe myrtle, which can come in a variety of colors including red, pink, fuscia and white, as you see here.
Tightly cropped, little curves, sharpened.
