The tracks for the train that goes to Potash, Utah. The cut canyon is also the beginning of the hike to Corona Arch. These tracks can be found by following Potash Road (state highway 279) out of Moab towards the "town" of Potash.
From Wikipedia:
Utah State Route 279 or Potash Road was constructed in 1962-3 to service a potash mine south of Moab along with a spur of the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad. The railroad roughly follows the same path, except for a 1.59 long tunnel to bypass bends in the Colorado River.

Amazing shot, Curtis
Hard to beleive that this was cut like this for a rail line. Must have been hard work. Nice sense of depth with the tracks heading into the distance.

Cool shot, Curtis!
Great POV and depth of field.
I love the Moab area, therefore I particularly appreciate you showing a location pretty much unknown to most visitors.
Have a great weekend.
Ciao,
Fulvio.
