Photographer's Note
Entering Old Town Albuquerque is almost like taking a step back in time. I came upon this small shrine in one of the many back alleys of the town.

Hello Don,
A most compelling shot, and indeed evocative of time travel to the late 19th century. Someone with a good eye has composed the shrine and provided the ideal lighting, and a most a skilled photographer with a good eye has captured it and is kind enough to share it with the rest of us. The framing is highly complementary. I remember you well from the sensational images of the Very Large Array.
Have a good weekend,
Bulent

Nice still life. It would have been nice to get all the flowers inside the composition, but the fact that it's not strait, it seems ok that we don't see all flowers like a common composition.

This was most likely taken at the "Capilla de Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe Chapel" (or in english: "Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel") in Old Town Albuquerque, NM. I've been there many times and wondered if I could take a decent photo to capture the feeling of the place, but I've never quite found how to do it.
You did a good job with the colors and the shadows...
nice job!
