Lonely sea gull on Manly Beach in the Pacific Ocean.

Manly – ‘seven miles from Sydney and thousand miles from care’ – can be reached in 30 minutes from Sydney Circular Quay on a traditional ferry. The ferry may be quite slow but it gives excellent view of the passing harbor-side scenery. Manly is a very nice holiday place with great beaches, perfect drinking place at Manly Wharf and The Coors, the street named after Coors in Rome, a street which is ending at the Pacific Ocean, nice place for eating, shopping or just sitting and watching the people around you.
