Photographer's Note
The Sydney Opera House, seen from the suburb of Kirribilli on the north side of the harbour. Kirribilli has many good spots for viewing the harbour. The plant on the left is a heath-leaved banksia (Banksia ericifolia) with its long orange flower spikes. It grows naturally in the Sydney area, and flowers in autumn and winter.

Hello Vincent,
A great view of the famous Opera House, which looks really good in this bright sunlight and on the other side of this nice blue water. The green of the tree is very well included in the left hand side as well.

Hello Vincent,
I like the colour contrast added by the yellow brown flower spikes of the banksia and the blue waters. A good shot of the iconic Sydney Opera House from the North Shore. Tfs!

Hello Vincent,
What a lovely view! I like how you incorporated the plant into the foreground. It compliments the iconic architecture of the Opera House very well, and the water is pretty, too. I've never seen the Opera House from this POV before. Take care!

natural framing with the plants
decorating this foreground...

Hello Vince,
I don't know if you are a Star Trek fan, but every time I saw Kai Winn's headpiece in Deep Space 9, I thought of the Sydney Opera House. Nice view of Kai Winn's hats!

Hello Vincent.
A magnificent composition that combines very well the beauty of this shrub and attractive flowers, with the image of the new design of the Opera building in the background.
Very nice color, with good sharpness and lighting, gives great quality to the image.
Well done. I like it.
You have a good day.
Very best regards
Luis.
