Photographer's Note
May Lane, St Peters (Inner West Sydney)plus another lane running off May Lane is a place where people with artistic talent can go a graffiti art the back walls and fences of the properties that back onto the laneways. It is all approved some years ago when a coalition of artists apprached the proeprty owners and put the proposition to them each. Now instead of vandalistic type of graffiti; we have all sorts of art as seen in my photograph. However, this shot also contains a Harley Davidson.

Brilliant Graham - your best yet (possibly!). When I saw the name I though you were referring to a certain TE member by the name of Peter. (Thinking of your recent posting where he wanted a full photo of the Harley).
Great colour, composition and subject matter.
cheers
Ian

Hi BMan, nice Toyyyy! I really like the full view especially against that very street grungy backdrop. The light off the chrome is wonderful and I agree with Ian as being one of your best yet (I still have a thing for the boat in reflected in the water though). As to St Peter...holy Jaysus, to think he beat Mary McKillop in the beatification race defies belief. Typical. Have a good one, about time for a wee beer right now methinks, Lisa

but the photo seems too tightly cropped on the right.. ??

Hello Graham,
This wider POV is great too. The grafitti BG is very fitting for the big bike, excellent framing. Looks as if that fat man in the grafitti owns the bike.

Hello Graham
Its a wonderful concept and its great to see their talents put to good use some of witch looks awesome and this is no exception. The hog has been well placed and the image gives the impression that the guy in the graffiti standing over the bike is so prowd of it.
good work,
Cheers Peter

Hey Graham,
Bloody fantastic shot.
You've picked the perfect location to get some chrome action man.
Superbly composed too, can't fault it.
Cheers
Peter
I'm going to ignore Ian. Sound familiar.
I've read your reply to fanni, so I've posted a workshop with a little more air on the right of frame. I don't think it needs it but have a look. Pete

Hello Graham!
Great composition and very funny observation - man on graffiti looks like a man sitting on the motorcycle.

Hi Graham, I like this colourful composition, I'm convinced that Hog would look nice anywhere, even in front of my place. Again the bike & street art compliment each other. Nice work, I also at first thought that our good friend must have been canonised ;-))))).
Take care
Santo

Hello Graham,
Which have I to congratulate, the painter or the photographer? I think that the two artists should be congratulated. The composition is well made with these two boasting “motorcyclists”. The colors and the quality of the realization are remarkable. Congratulations.
Have a nice day

Graham,
Good to see you out with your camera again.
I love street art and this is a nice one, the motor bike somehow fits in with the painting.
Keep taking pictures.
All the best
Mike

Ciao Graham,
bellissima immagine quasi da spot pubblicitario.
Il murales si intona molto bene al tipo di moto affiancata.
Complimenti!
Francesco
