Etched on the South Bank skyline, The Wheel of Brisbane is a breathtaking way to have a 360-degree panoramic view of Brisbane City from the heart of Brisbane's cultural, lifestyle and entertainment precinct, The Parklands, South Bank. Rising almost 60 metres above the ground in the safety and comfort of a fully enclosed, air-conditioned gondola,

The Wheel of Brisbane is the perfect attraction for everyone, young or old, tourist or local. The wheel experience includes four full revolutions and lasts approximately 12 minutes. It also includes a magical stop right at the top, and comes complete with an audio tour pointing out popular Brisbane landmarks. This audio tour is a fantastic educational experience and an invaluable orientation tool.

Built on 2008, It is a Bussink R60 transportable Ferris wheel installation in Brisbane and "almost" 60 metres in height

Unfortunately i have left Brisbane, the riverfire festival is tonight!

Hello Ralf,

Your slow shutter speed has had a remarkable effect, giving an inferred sense of speed!
If the wheel was travelling so fast, there would be no opportunity for tourists to see anything other than their tightly clasping hands!!
