Another section of the 2018 wall mural by Rick Hayward at Eagle Junction Station. It was not possible to go any further back. These are toucans, native to South America. Taken after a cloud came across to take advantage of the diffused light and reduce the annoying hard shadows.

whenever I see a Toucan, i think of the cereal Fruit Loops hahaha. I know you said you can't move back any further, but it would be interesting to see the scene in its totality. Just curious to see how the murals are laid out on a much larger scale thats all :) its an eye catching scene, fully loaded with colors, nice one. cheers

we have many types of toucans here, in the artwork we aren't sure enough to identify the especie, maybe the most famous one with colors modified. anyway a beautiful mural with a nice quality.

Hello Chris, although toucans don't exist in Australia they are represented on that mural in Brisbane. They are indeed native to central and south America. They are represented with a colorful beak and feathers on a purple background. Remarkable artwork. Amitiés

hello Chris, This painting is in the same style as the previous one but now we see the toucans. But I think that toucans do not live in Australia. Fantastic colourful presentation.
