Photographer's Note

What do you want to be when you grow up?

A pirate of course.

Putting words into the mouth of this young swashbuckler exploring the Polly Woodside.

The Polly Woodside was built in Belfast in 1885 and operated as a cargo vessel between England and South America, and also visiting North America, Africa, Asia and Australia.

It is now on display at South Wharf, Melbourne

(for the avoidance of doubt - the boy is neither related to or known by me, he just happened to be there.)
