Photographer's Note
Two 'Zombies' at Melbourne's Zombie Shuffle. I loathe selfies, but on this occasion I can almost understand why two of the best dressed zombies were preserving their zombie good looks for digital eternity before shuffling off in the rain. Oh, and 'sharing' it on Instagram, or whatever, where everyone can 'like' it. Ah well, that's the Zeitgeist.

hello Andrew,
These two are really scary. Funny teeth of this nun (?). And how the eyes are made so? It must be great fun for the participants and guests. No wonder they want to share the pictures on social media.
Have a nice day

Hello Andrew,
Excellent capture of this very humorous moment. The make-up on these two would-be zombies is perfect and you can perhaps understand why they might want to capture it for posterity, otherwise I echo your sentiments entirely as regards selfies. Superb technical realisation on your part.

Hello Andrew,
I firmly believe that you are intent on giving me nightmares!
This is vying ... and probably winning ... with your previous shot, for the most scary!
I wouldn't like to meet these guys on a dark night!
NO ... I just wouldn't like to meet these guys!
It's a superb close-up!
Every macabre detail is pin sharp; even the eyes have a glassy, horrendous presence!
The raised arm, whilst being for a selfie, assists your photograph greatly, easily being mistaken for a potential hammer blow!
Have a lovely day,
Bev :-)

Hello Andrew,
What a specially picture with the both faces.
Composition and presentation are lovely.
People become everyday a little bit more daffy, but your picture is perfect
Very well done, TFS
Best regards,
John

Hi Andrew
People taking selfies can be a great subject. Either as silhouettes adding interest to a colourful background of negative space or as a cultural phenomenon like in this image. I really like the contrast between what could be labelled "traditional Zombie outfit" and the use of modern technology...
It definitely put smile on my face. :-)
Best wishes
Kasia

Bonjour Andrew,
Elle est assez étonnante cette composition à double sens.Les déguisements sont magnifiques et les personnages font peur. Le selfie est inévitable dans les circonstances.
Amicalement

Dear Andrew
What a great shot of these ghoulish looking zombies doing selfies. It really is an excellent double portrait. Beautiful vivid colours and superb definition. These zombies have more life and more heart in them than any of our idiot politicians at the moment. I hope you're keeping cool and calm.
Cheers

Hello Andrew,
we've seen so many selfie pictures as well as images of people posing for selfies, this is so original for its quality, its excellent tight composition, the look of the subjects and the expressions which tell a story beyond the story. The hand and the phone are placed superbly. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,
Ourania
