Southbank is an inner urban neighborhood of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.Its southernmost area is considered part of the central business district of the city. Southbank is bordered to the north by the Yarra River, and to the east by St Kilda Road.

You had some marvelous lights and colours here I have to say! The composition is good as it follows the rule of thirds. The boat with the pink poster is the cherry on ice.

Fantastic light here and a good view at the skyline at both sides of the river.
The pink at the boat or terace is an eyecatcher.Excellent quality in the large version. I was there in 2001 when most of these building did not exist.

The intense colors and contrast have almost given a 3d effect. I like it. The urban sprawl is very attractive in this view of the city. A special image here.

Hello Vicky,

I enjoyed studying your photograph of Melbourne.

It is a very beautiful photograph, with warm sky colours reflecting in the water and providing a wonderful b/g against which to exhibit the many tall buildings.
The converging lines create an excellent sense of perspective, to a strong vanishing point, nicely off-centre.
