Photographer's Note

The plains around Hay in the Riverina area of NSW are dead flat and in areas where water is available large scale irrigation has been used in recent years for growing cotton.
I hadn't previously been around a cotton area at harvest time and was amazed to see the massive round bales of cotton wrapped in plastic waiting for collection.
Taken early in the morning, hence the long shadows.
