Capertee Valley, a photo from New South Wales, East

Photographer's Note

The setting sun highlights the beautiful sandstone cliffs of Capertee Valley, one of my favourite camping sites.
The 105km valley has been formed by the Capertee River through Triassic sandstones and shales from near Kandos eastwards through Wollemi National Park before joining the Colo River. This scene was capture near the old shale mining village of Glen Davis.

the evening sunlight along the cliffs and trees is just enchanting in a very suitable panoramic composition.
A cracking shot of an Australian evening,very emotive.

Hello Chris,
The panoramic format is well chosen to capture this sun kissed ridge. The burnished red tones of the rocks make a fine contrast with the saturated blue sky. Thanks for sharing.

Bonjour Chris,

C'est un de mes rêves de visiter cette vallée.Elle est très belle sous cette lumière forte et joue bien avec les ombres. Le plan large est efficace et d'une grande netteté.

un mangifique panorama, la lumière sur les sommets rocheux est d'une grande beauté.

Hello Chris,

Looks great! I love the sharpness and the wide angled panoramic crop. Far from the madding crowds too. Wonderful warm cold colour contrasts between the blue sky and yellow red rocky bluffs bathed in late afternoon sunlight. Tfs!
