Photographer's Note
We were on a boat belonging to Captain Cook Cruises when we saw the sailboat skillfully navigated through Sydney's harbor. The word "tacking" or "coming about" describes the maneuver undertaken by the boat, as it turns into the wind through the 'no-go zone,' and the direction from which the wind blows changes from one side to the other. The somewhat choppy waters of the bay made it difficult to shoot a sharp photo of the sailboat with a long lense. Nonetheless, I shot half a dozen images, and this was by far the best image I was able to capture.
I will remain eternally grateful to Lisa Delpeoples and Murray Lines who gave so much of their time to show us their beloved city. This particular photo is from a Captain Cook Cruise's breakfast cruise made with Murray and his wife, Lucy.

Hello Bulent,
Nice captured the tilt of the white sail-boat, in a very dynamic scale through its notable motion. Contrast well to sky and sea, with fine view of the town houses "dip" in green.
A fine moment taken.

Hello Bülent,
Maybe the words "nicely balanced" would be suitable here. It is definitely a well cropped and well shaped photo where the sail creates an elegant white diagonal. There is an obvious sense of movement which you captured well with fine sharpness and exposure. Considering the fairly complicated circumstances you managed exceedingly well, at least once. And that's enough.
Kind regards,
Gert

Selamlar Bülent Bey,
I can imagine the difficulty you had capturing the sailboat with a long lens on choppy waters. You got one pleasant photo, at least. I like the compression and selective focus that are trademarks of long lenses, your efforts paid off.

Bonjour, cher ami Bulent,
Ce sont les voiliers qui ont découvert le monde, et ils charrient dans leur sillage bien des légendes.
Très bonne réalisation.

Hello Bulent
I am glad Lisa and Murray chaperoned you around Sydney. Looking forward to your impressions of Brisbane. These sailboats are what inspired the design of the Sydney Opera House. Good sharpness and excellent color and saturation. Tfs!

Hi Bulent
Tacking on the Blackjack on a pretty rough sea, but it's a cracking sporting shot with some lucky folks enjoying wind power! The angles of the sails are really interesting, lovely deep blue water and superb contrast. A wonderful capture & great description, Congrats.
Ps: Your commend on my last upload is much appreciated.
Best wishes

Hello Bulent,
When I saw the man with the hat on the Blackjack, I thought for a moment the it was you, but I realized that you couldn't be on that boat and that you took this lovely picture at the same time.
But after reading you info I did doubt again : )

Dear Bulent,
Great action photo when the sailor was in the middle of a difficult maneuvre, or at least that is what it looks like to me as a non-sailing person. The sidelight makes the view even more attractive. Perfect capture.

Dear Bulent
What a sensational action photo. The tilt of the yacht really gives that sense of movement and living on the edge. The image is superbly sharp, beautifully coloured and contrasted, despite the strong light. There’s a photographer here called Francolini who has made his name taking these types of photo and yours is every bit as good.
Warmest wishes, thanks for sharing
Lisa
