Blue Mountains are within a reach of daytrip from Sydney. There's several tour operators to choose from. You should choose one operated by minibus. With such you'll get a chance to see places where big buses can't go. And naturally you get a better contact with the guide than with a large group.

Due to strong contrast, I handled highlights, midtones and shadows separately. I had to soften the sky because adjustments made noise too obvious.

This is quite a place to visit, isn't it? very steep and dangerous! You've got a good shot here Kari, the colours look 'real' and the view is stunning. Well done,

It reminds me a bit of the Grand Canyon with the colours of the rocks. I can imagine the difficult job you had in PP as there is a bit of evidence of selection on the mountains. You have achieved great depth here.

Hi Kari,
Very grand landscape. Good PoV to capture the depth and contrasts. That little bit of mist (fog?...whtever) covering the left hand side works quite well to add extra atmosphere. and good PP work.

A beautiful composition with a sweeping vertical view, Kari.
Tonal range captured very well. You've obviously taken great care in the postprocessing. Did you use a blended exposure here, or just careful use of shadow/highlight tool and curves/levels? I'd be interested in knowing your method, and would be happy to share mine with you too.
