That's amazing! Looking at the picture, it seems so dark, quiet and alone; although I would guess it's quite loud. I like the colors and the frothy white of the waves. Very well done. I can't imagine how you were able to stay on your board and hold still long enough to take the picture without crashing. Quite a talent.

Really impressive. There is so much raw energy captured so crisply here. All the frothing water and the arc. It's all so powerful. And yet it does convey a feeling of silence because of the crisp nature of this shot. It really is a frozen moment. A brief look at the wave from the surfer's point of view that I would think needs a lot of quick reaction and the ability to break down what's happening into instant moments. All that focus seems to be in this shot. Great job! And how did you get this?

Amazing! So this is why people are addicted to surfing! Love the crisp white patterns of foam on the right, the turbulent water at the far end, and the deceptive calmn of the darker water in the foreground. The water patterns also make me think of electron microscope pics of interlacing cells.
Please tell: how did you get this shot?
