Photographer's Note
I do not know if Craig is a popular given name, I know only "our" Craig. I found it funny to see Craig's Building in Auckland. It is small and not something that Craig calls architecture but I think it is charming.
Queen Street is the major commercial thoroughfare in the Auckland CBD, Auckland, New Zealand's main population centre. It starts at Queens Wharf on the Auckland waterfront, adjacent to the Britomart Transport Centre and the Downtown Ferry Terminal, and runs increasingly more steeply uphill for almost three kilometres in a mostly straight south-southwesterly direction towards the Karangahape Road ridge, and the residential suburbs in the interior of the Auckland isthmus. Named after Queen Victoria, Queen Street was an early development of the new town of Auckland (founded in 1840). The late 19th and early 20th centuries saw a large number of imposing buildings constructed, such as the Smith & Caughey's building, the Auckland Town Hall and the General Post Office at the waterfront, later to become the Britomart Transport Centre. Queen Street is known by reputation all over the country, even by people who have never seen it. It gives its name to the most expensive square in the New Zealand version of Monopoly. In WS two other views from the Queen Street.
The sky is white because it was an early evening.

Hello Malgorzata ,
A fine reference to our friend Craig . I suppose that this name is popular , because ther are many people from Scotland in New Zealand .
Despite od the white sky , this is an interesting view of these beautiful facades.

Hello Malgorzata
'Craig' is a good old Scottish/ Irish / Welsh name. There are several towns in the south Island named after Scottish places. Dunedin and Invercargill eg. And a Stewart Island. Obviously along with the English, there were many Scots immigrants seeking a better life in New Zealand. Effective tight framing with good sharpness & the palm trees at right add a subtropical atmosphere. Tfs!

Hello Malgo,
Three nice street photos of a kind, mainly focusing on the buildings of Auckland. The buildings you show are quite attractive, and the reflections are superb and well spotted.
Kind regards,

Hi Malgo,
The palm trees are framing well the scene. The point of view is showing the details of the buildings. A good management of the light which does not hurt the output of the colors. Have a nice day.

Ciao Malgo,
Un cadrage serré des plus intéressant mais qui reste intrigant. Tu as décidé de couper le haut des bâtiment ainsi que l'activité de la rue pour te concentrer sur les devantures.
Amicalement

Hello Malgo,
A nice collection of these façades, which bring many different colours and most of all elements to the photo. They are all very different, but still go quite well together.

Hi Malgo,
I had no idea that central Auckland has such awesome facades. I certainly didn't spend much time in the city centre and have no idea if I have walked on that exact street. Craig's building is certainly best looking of those. How nice!

Hi, Malgo.
What a beautiful series of facades, each one with a design but so different and at the same time they form a very attractive image, the friend Craig is represented in one of them .......
Sharpness, lighting, color, and the magnificent composition; they are all perfectly realized factors, in this beautiful image.
Well done. I like very much.
You have a good day.
Very best regards.
Luis.

in the image I liked the façades, whose shapes are so beautiful. anyway I pay attention in those palm trees, we named australian ones and here they are used as decoration of gardens and, at same time, as a substitution to our native palm trees for food (heart of palm)that is a loved food here.
take care

Hello Malgo,
So it's in New Zealand that Craig has made his investments. Sooner or later someone discovers it.
BTW, I think I haven't told you yet. But during my recent summer trip I did see a very large hotel with the name 'Malgo's hotel'. Too bad I saw it only from in a moving bus and to my regret I couldn't take a picture.
Otherwise I would have shown it here.
A nice row of very beautiful buildings here in Auckland.
Best regards, Paul
