Photographer's Note

Auckland reminded me of Sydney. It is also beautifully situated on the ocean, it has the high tower and also the Harbor Bridge. From the bridge, one can admire the beautiful view of the city. Unfortunately, only from the moving bus because it is not allowed to go on foot or to stop. I waited with my camera ready for the good moment. I hope you like.

Hi Malgo
too bad you couldn't get out and quickly snap off a photo or two, i'd be so upset! this is such a beautiful city view. We can tell its from a moving vehicle bc the blue car is blurred. Reminds me a bit of Vancouver as well. Fine post considering you were in the bus - I'd be so mad!

Hello Malgo,
This is an amazingly good photo from a moving bus. Maybe the foreground with the car and the railing is there because you couldn't avoid it from your position, but I really like it for anchoring the view close to us. The skyline shows a number of interesting buildings, but basically looks like a lot of other major cities. The large marina is a very nice feature.

The moment was well chosen giving us a splendid overview of the city. The blue car placed so as to be as unobtrusive as possible also gives a sense of dynamism to the scene. Good colours and adequate sharpness. It was very hot when we were in Portugal; the picture was taken mid morning when the heat had not yet reached its peak.

It has also happened to me that fantastic viewpoints are not accessible to pedestrians ... Too bad.
That's why a car is included on the picture. You had no choice.
Furthermore, the quality of the photo is very good.
If more time was allowed, you could have enjoyed the splendid scenery with the marina in front of the skyline and the view of that high tower for a much longer time.

Considering the difficulties you had, this is an amazing shot.

Yes if you superimposed the Sydney Opera House over the oil storage tanks it would be difficult to recognise this as Auckland! The yacht harbour on the other hand reminds me of Vancouver. Tfs!

A fantastic view of the city, I really like the skyline and the large marina in the foreground, adding a white forest of masts. The brightness and clarity of the day are wonderful. The blurry car makes a nice addition and luckily the bridge didn't obstruct the view.

it is a pity a so marvelous place for photos is prohibited. anyway you did a nice job with the bus in movement.even the car is well included and we have a nice general view of the town.
