Photographer's Note
Cerro Torre seen from just outside the village of Calafate. Thanks to a fellow traveler for letting me borrow his tripod, which I mounted on the roof of the rental car. I mean the tripod, not the traveler.

Hi Tan, I'd say it was worth the effort. Stunning mountains, especially the sharp peaks on the right. Great colours and shadows on the shot.
Did you take any shots to your left, without as much of the mountain in shadow? I do like those mountains on the right.

Hi Tan
It`s a mountain of dream of many alpinists. But I fear when I`m looking at this needle ;).
Great capture. Only I don`t like the verging on green sky colour ;).
Greetings

Another amazing photo of these spectacular peaks, and yours may be the best I've seen so far! Your capture of the lighting and shadows on the peaks is really quite wonderful. A marvelous photo!
