Photographer's Note

Well, it was only one week! It was not too far away (a three and a half hour flight direct from São Paulo to Mendoza)! But, I think I have begun my traveling routine again!
This picture was taken in the wonderful location around the village of USPALLATA, on RUTA 7 (ROUTE 7) that links the city of MENDOZA to the border between ARGENTINA and CHILE, right in the middle of the ANDES.
I had been there back in 2014, but I couldn't quite properly enjoy the whole area as I would have liked to, so I went back and it was totally worth.

Such a gorgeous landscape. I really like the mix of the snow-capped mountains and the green trees and fields in the foreground. The warm sidelight added such a fine hue over the view. Very well done.

Bonjour Neyvan,

Le mâchoire nus tombe presque au sol devant un aussi beau paysage. Une belle rangée de verdure à l'avant plan, des montagnes de pierre au centre et des montagnes de neige dans le ciel.

Hello Nevyan,
I don't know if this picture has been taken somewhere in the area that you've visited on a previous journey in wintertime ... but here the climate looks much better and easier.
While the peaks of the mountain range all have a snowcap the sunlight makes the foreground look quite warm.
Here and there we can detect already some autumn hues.

Epic feel to this snow mountain peaks; the thing with sight light is that a little can be all that's required to transform an image into something magical as it has done here. The sublime light really emphasises its colours, depth and shades towering over you. All I can say its a cracking picture. Congrats
