Photographer's Note

A lot can be said on brazilian regional folk music. Brasilia and its metropolitan area have a pretty good number of groups. What really mesmerizes me is percussion instruments.
An instrument that I really love is Zabumba, a type of bass drum. Its rhythm associated to another percussion instruments promotes a beautiful musical experience.
Out-of-focus portions of the picture reveals two Xequerês (Shekeres), percussion instruments that can be shaken and/or hit against the hands.

Folkloric band "Lua de Luanda" performed vibrating songs on a perfect afternoon except for the cloudy sky.
