And there she was, in Picãozinho Natural Pool, about 1500 meters away from Tambaú Beach, in João Pessoa. Not exactly the same species, but it looks like her. Photo taken with my underwater camera, practically in disuse.

Realmente o peixe é bem parecido com a famosa Dory! Não sabia que tínhamos um peixe tão parecido com ela aqui no Brasil. Foto com boa luz e enquadramento também.

Hello Alexandre,

I have taken photos like this in aquariums but never in the open sea. What a pleasure to see a photo taken in the wild. The iridescent cobalt blue of that one creature is perfectly placed in the frame.

Hello Alexandre,
You should use that underwater camera more often. This photo is of a very good quality concerning sharpness and exposure, but it's also a very beautiful catch of the amazing blue fish seen against a light brown background. The light from above has created an attractive pattern among the rocks, which has made the photo lively and interesting, apart from the very nice "portrait".

Ciao Alex,i like me too to do pics underwater,the Red Sea is a great show full of colorful fish and i have a small collection on treknature. I'm impressed that you photographed this underwater!
Normally, when we see photographs of fish, they have been photographed in an aquarium!
The fish is so clear and exactly where you want it compositionally!
I like the sunlight reflections in the b/g.

Espléndida imagen subacuatica, algo que me parece muy dificil conseguir, para mi algo imposible, pues tengo angustia de meter la cabeza bajo el agua.... el pez azul le has captado maravillosamente, es precioso. Buen efecto de reflejos y luces.
Una foto fantástica, con hermosos colores naturales, muy buena iluminacion y una excelente nitidez.

well i can honestly say I will never capture this photo as I don't know how to swim and I'm not a fan of water. So for now I'll just admire this one :) the little blue fish stands out well bc of its color, so different from the rest in the scene. fine shot underwater. cheers

Nice picture made with the underwater camera. Have you been snorkeling or scuba diving? Nice clear water. Wonderful blue fish.
I also swam quite a lot in my trip to Greece. Water was so wsarm, fabulous.

só usei uma câmera dessas quando estava em bonito, era alugada e até que valeu a pena. contudo, no mar é muito melhor. bacana esta amostra do peixe azul. gostei do resultado.

¡Esto es grandioso, Alexandre! ¡No vemos fotografías submarinas con mucha frecuencia en TE ! Y esta es realmente agradable. Lo capturaste justo cuando estaba prácticamente solo en el océano.
El contraste es excelente entre los colores azul brillante y atenuado del fondo.
¡También me gusta tu título! Debes sentirte realmente afortunado de encontrar a Dory ella misma :-)
