(Series on my Trip to ARACAJU - THE CAPITAL CITY OF THE STATE OF SERGIPE - THE NORTHEASTERN REGION - BRAZIL - From December 11th to 19th - #017!)

800 FOTOS NO TE - A PONTE DO IMPERADOR!
MY 800TH PICTURE HERE ON TE - THE EMPEROR'S BRIDGE!

A whole week with my parents in the city of ARACAJU - SE! Getting to know one more capital city of the Northeastern Region of my Country!

That included several tours to places nearby (or not that close)!

In this picture, the "PONTE DO IMPERADOR"/"EMPEROR'S BRIDGE" is highlighted! It's not a real bridge though! It's just a place that was built to receive Brazil's Emperor when visiting that city a long time ago! It's located by the RIO SERGIPE/SERGIPE RIVER, pretty close to downtown ARACAJU!

"SERGIPE (SE) is the smallest state of the Brazilian Federation, located on the northeastern Atlantic coast of the country. It borders on two other states, BAHIA in the south and west and ALAGOAS in the north and in the east on the ATLANTIC OCEAN. ARACAJU is the capital and the largest city of the state."
