Photographer's Note
When the province of Goiás was created by the Portuguese king, the Count of Arcos was named to be its first governor. The small city was one of the most remote spots in the Portuguese empire and the count wanted a palace to keep his family and the government before to come in. The building was created in 1751, in baroque style, even at side of the Cathedral.
...........

Hello Jorge,
This building looks quite plain and simple in spite of being known as a palace. Maybe a small and remote town couldn't afford anything more magnificent. The photo is well exposed and I like the contrasts of blue and white.

Hello Jorge,
This is an interesting piece of history, which I am pleased you could relate.
Had I seen it undescribed, I would never have imagined it as a palace. It is certainly large but appears perhaps, like a military building. As a far away Portuguese territory, maybe finances were concentrated on larger areas.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Jorge,
The branches are helping to frame the building. The point of view is showing the details of the palace of the count of Arcos. There is a good contrast betwwen the colors of the picture. Have a nice day.

Hi Jorge, isn't easy to see something of baroque watching this facade, maybe the interiors are better, another all in white facade taken in the best exposure and sharpness. Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano

Hi Jorge
At first glance I thought that this looked like fancy horse stables but no - a palace! Good photo.

Hi Jorge,
These buildings are quite interesting, relatively simple and yet having some very subtle architectural features.
Interesting reportage from the off the beaten track destination,

Hi Jorge,
Interesting building and architecture, well managed the light capture with this strong sunlight and this white wall, good contrast with the leaves in the corner, tfs.

Hello Jorge,
In the remote area, this simple building can be called a palace.
A nice white building with blue elements.
Best regards MAlgo
