Today is "Valentine's Day" here in Brazil. Well, maybe "Valentine´s Night" since it is celebrated usually after the sunset... ;-D
I was trying to find something in my archives to post for them, and I found these hats. I took this picture last year, during a rodeo.

Beautiful, very romantic daily life scene, a splendid double portrait! Perfect tight framing and composition, excellent focus and blurred background. The take looks very "natural". The b&w choice and the sepia tones enhance the atmosphere! Congratulations!

Muito bonita. O chapeu é muito parecido com um tipo de chapeus ufeitos na Australia, chamados AKUBRA. Além disso, até me parece que o clipe é precisamente o mapa da Austrália. Muito interessante o facto de o Dia dos Namorados ser hoje enão a 14 de Fevereiro.
Gosto muito da conversão e o sépia fica mesmo bem nesta foto.

Hi, Jose. The proximity of the two hats shows a nice complicity between the two young people. It also preserves their intimacy. N o need to tell us waht the next step is going to be, everyone has guessed. Very good DOF which brings out the couple very well. An excellent shot to illustrate Vanentine's Day.

Uma bela imagem para representar o tema, trazendo tanto apuro técnico, com a exposição difícil balanceada dentro do possível (aí é uma questão de dynamic range), quanto artístico, com a captura do momento preciso da “cumplicidade de chapéus”, como bem observou o Phillipe. Que coisa engraçada, não?, o sol e a paixão eram tão intensos que o acalento teve de se dar aos encontrões de abas, hehe.

Hello Zeca, taken during the Rodeo bur very appropriate for lovers day. I think the sepia tones work well here & have the desired effect portraying warmth. A very nice clear & warm image.
