Series on my short trip to PORTO ALEGRE (JOYFUL HARBOR), the CAPITAL CITY of the STATE of RIO GRANDE DO SUL (SOUTHERN BIG RIVER), the most Austral State in Brazil - from January, 16th to 18th, 2015 - #013 !

Porto Alegre has many urban squares and parks. Its streets are full of trees as well!
In this picture, on a rainy Saturday morning, I was walking across the "REDENÇÃO (FARROUPILHA)" park, as I headed from my hotel to the historical center!

Hello Neyvan,
A superbly balanced composition that fills all of the frame nicely, the reflections are sharp and clear in the still water.
The red streak is a welcome splash of colour in a predominantly green picture,clarity is first rate.

Impressionando como nosso país tem uma mistura única, um templo estilo oriental cercado de mata ocidental. Gosto das cores, mesmo com o céu superexposto ficou bonito. Um talve teria feito um crop logo acima do templo e mostraria mais o lago para baixo que não ficou superexposto.
Pena que nossos politicos só nos roubam, pois acredito que se usasem bem o dinheiro nosso país seria de primeiro mundo.

This looks like beautiful city oasis with a nice pavilion to seek protection from the rain. The reflections in the quiet water are fantastic. Thes is a well composed photo with very good colors.

Hello Ney,

This is a scene any photographer would love, with its rich greenery and the still pool, to offer mirror-like reflections. You have captured the scene with excellent clarity.
I would have been tempted to crop most of the sky, to put the summer house in a stronger position and to maintain the vividness of the colours; the sky is a little washed out dilutes the colours.

Lindíssima composição e foto meu amigo. Sou fã de reflexos e estes aqui com este belo gazebo ficou um charme só. A sua foto também capturou o clima de paz e tranquilidade deste local de uma forma bem convidativa a conhecê-lo.

Hello Neyvan,

This is a beautiful photograph and you have added some interesting notes as well as some fine links to other pictures of this place.

This looks almost like a Japanese or some sort of Oriental garden but it is a beautifully serene place and you have captured it perfectly with lovely light and colours, perfect exposure and a fine composition. Details and sharpness are exquisite too.

Good composition and light management.
The vertical position and the layers
in the picture creates a nice depth.
Light management is also good. The

A lovely composition of beautiful, nice corner with small pavilion, surrounded by a profusion of trees, highlighting the elegant tall palm trees, all reflecting off the pond, provides a wonderful view.
A gorgeous photo with a beautiful colorful as well as a very good lighting and perfect sharpness.

Olá Neyvan

Nice repetition of the palm trees, which add a fantastic tropical mood. Good reflections in the mirror like pond in the fg. Excellent sharpness and saturation. The yellow colour of the Chinese style pagoda contrasts well against the blue grey colour tones. The people add scale. Smart choice of a vertical frame. Tfs!

Nicely symmetrical in its vertical frame the yellow and red pavilion contrasts beautifully with the lush foliage that surrounds it. The stillness of the water gives a good mirror-image reflection. Do I detect a very slight green cast Neyvan or is it my monitor?
