Series on the State of SÃO PAULO - The State where I WAS BORN and where I've always LIVED - The SOUTHEASTERN REGION OF BRAZIL - #020 !

MORROS E MONTANHAS - MORROS Y MONTAÑAS - COLLI E MONTAGNE - HILLS AND MOUNTAINS - DES BUTTES ET DES MONTAGNES - I travel on business around the State of São Paulo and I really like it, because it allows me to visit many, many cities and fortunately I usually have some free time, specially late in the afternoon, after working, to explore a bit the place I'm at and... of course, to take pictures. The town of CRUZEIRO is pretty close to the borders of the States of MINAS GERAIS and RIO DE JANEIRO. It's in the valley of the RIO PARAÍBA/PARAÍBA RIVER and those mountains belong to the SERRA DA MANTIQUEIRA/MANTIQUEIRA MOUNTAIN RANGE. In this area of that mountain range, peaks reach their highest altitudes, around 2,000m!

Having time, take a look at the two other WS versions:
a) A slightly different pov with more saturated colors!
b) A rectangular and wider view.

Essas nuvens envolvendo as montanhas parecem algodão doce. A imagem está linda, com um composição, execução e pp de primeira.

Salut Neyvan,

une vue fantastique sur ces superbes patûrages aux couleurs acceuillantes. De plus il semble être rempli de vie puisqu'à droit on y voit un cheval et à gauche, on dirait, des moutons.

Ney o que mais me atraiu em sua foto foi o fundo, as nuvens carregadas sobre as montanhas, teria feito uma foto apenas com aquela area. Fiz um workshop para ti, espero que goste.

Hi Neyvan, beautiful panorama - smaller hills with green fields and high mountains in the bg. I like these low lying clouds. but there is no houses here.

Hello Neyvan,

This is an interesting landscape, quite dramatic as the low clouds are wrapping the summits!
The composition is well balanced and has a fine sense of depth, excellent colour reproduction...
And looking closer I can spot different animals spread over the meadow...!

lindíssima vista das montanhas, parece que estão fumegando. gostei do verde das pastagens e dos detalhes da compo, lindo pov . eu teria cortado um pouco da parte baixa da imagem, acho que o mais belo fica mais acima. de qualquer maneira uma bela foto

Your country have very similar landscape with ours. I would love to visit Brazil too but it is so far away. I might one day too :-) like you said in my post.

This is truly dreamy view with undulating fg against the partially covered hills with cloud. I like the depth throughout the frame in well controlled exposure.

Wonderful landschape, Ney. I love the contrast between the green fg and the grey mountains at the back. Very well seen. I would like to see a bit more light at the fg. But still lovely shot.

A mudança abrupta entre o verde do primeiro plano e o azul do segundo criou um efeito agradável, dando a impressão de estarmos diante de duas fotos superpostas.
As nuvens nas partes baixas das montanhas criam um ar de grandes altitudes, lembrando o Himalaia.
Quanto ao WS ficou bom o corte dado, criando duas imagens que atendem a propósitos distintos: a versão original, uma belíssima foto de registro enquanto o corte adquire mais as características de um trabalho artístico podendo receber um tratamento mais elaborado.

Bonjour Neyvan ,
Une montagne buccolique et pastorale au premier plan , toute en douces courbes . Et , au second plan , des pics accérés , dont l'aspect dramatique est renforcé par les nuages . Quel contraste saisissant ! Un paysage comme je les aime .
