Tamandua, a photo from Parana, South

Photographer's Note

Checking some of my old archives, I found this capture from the locality of Tamanduá, in Balsa Nova, state of Paraná. I am just arriving from there, where my son found his chocolate egs this Easter.
I've setted my camera at 1/800 with f/4 because I was catching some birds on flight when I saw the car and just took the picture.
All the best, with good Easter thoughts to the world.

Hi Jose,

You are not that active (must be busy), but when you post you still know how to surprise us with great light pictures. Also here, great light on the land but a dark sky on top who gives a huge contrast to the scenery. Not your best landscape on subject and composition, but that light is stunning again....

Bem bonita esta visão sobre estes campos dourados e verdes, ficou bonita esta mancha de árvores em grande destaque , o céu estava bem cinza deu bastante contraste com o resto da paisagem , parabéns!!

Oi Zeca,
sempre que vejo (e nesses meses é fácil) nuvens pesadas com um Sol dourado no entardecer projetando no solo e nas plantas, já lembro de suas fotos no TE.
Aqui está uma típica. O carro incluído no cenário rural ficou muito interessante e a mata à esquerda é uma exuberância só!!!

judging from your photos, warm and beautiful light is almost constant in Brazil :) I like a lot the contrast between the golden cast in the foreground and dramatic clouds, while the car shows the scale. but the light... wonderful, nothing more to say.

What an amazing light and colours! The capture of light showing the trees with a three-dimensional effect is truly excellent. The murky clouds make colors of the fields and trees stand out further. Splendid work indeed!

Hi Jose, The afternoon light on the FG contrasts nicely with the dark clouds making this shot a good one. The car and the shadow on the right are a little distracting though. Not much can be done with the car, but I may have been tempted to crop the shadow. cheers, Steve

Hi Jose, I had to look several times even after reading your note to work out this was a car, the overall photo is very good with super light & the darkening clouds, the trees are well positioned & the car seems a little odd but really adds interest, TFS, kind regards Wilson.

ola zeca. this is a nice one, with smooth tonal transitions and warm, glowing light. one could sense how you were enjoying the setting as you were shooting this.
