Photographer's Note

The pigeons are a symbol of large cities, and reminds us of the great and famous squares in Europe, but they are present all over the world. On the other hand, they also bring many dirt and diseases. This pigeon is distant from the crowds, in a higher point, far from all the confusion down there. This picture was also taken from my work, at the Audit Court, but let it be clear that I only took the picture after all the service was finished.

Um rato de asas! Ficou bem interessante a vista do rato nítida no primeiro plano com o paredão de prédios borrado no fundo. Pelo horário da foto, vejo que todo o seu serviço acabou muito cedo esse dia...

Bela imagem, excelente uso da profundidade de campo. A folhagem verde junto ao pombinho dá muita vida ao cenário de arranha-céus ao fundo.

Hi Fabiano, This is a great shot.. Tell you why I like it.. The clarity of the pigeon and how it sits so comfortably so high on the edge of a building.. But looking passed it you see the buildings so far down. and how small they look!.. as if it is a toy village in the background. Your office are certainly high in the sky.. Keep on shooting Rich

haha, bem aproveitado depois do trabalho feito. A foto diz-me que tens uma vista fabulosa do teu escritório. O 1º plano está muito bem enquadrado mas o que eu gosto mais é do fundo com a floresta de arranhacéus desfocada. O pombo devia estar em estado zen na beira do precipício mas topou-te e agora está desconfiado ;-)
