GETTING TO THE URBAN PARK "WINDMILLS"!

Porto Alegre has many urban squares and parks. Its streets are full of trees as well!
In this picture, on a rainy Saturday morning, I was getting to the "MOINHOS DE VENTO" park, as I headed from my hotel to the historical center!

Hello Neyvan,
I like the intense colliers of the scenery beneath the dark clouds. The black curves of the wet road drag my eyes through the composition very efficiently.

Hello Ney,
I like the rainy atmosphere very much. The road glistening under the rain makes a fine lead-line toward the background buildings whilst the overall composition is well balanced. The verdant surroundings contrast nicely with the grey sky.

Olá Neyvan,

bela foto. Não sei sei conhece o Rio, mas essa cena me lembra muito a avenida beira-mar que vai do Aeroporto Santos Dummont até a Zona Sul cortando o parque do Aterro do Flamengo com todo o verde aos lados. Gostei das cores. Já reparou que o verde fica mais bonito em dias de chuva? É como se as plantas ficassem felizes com a água!

wow, lots of lush greenery here!
its easy to see how the people cut through the landscape to build this road.

it almost has that 'rainforest' look and feel to it.
and of course i enjoy seeing the city buildings in the bg, its a fun combination with the large palm trees on the right :)

good city shot overall, lots of contrasting elements.

A real rainy day, the road is very wet and maybe a little bit dangerous.
You chose a very nice angle with a lot of depth and perspective.
A lovely presentation, sharp and clear.

Hi Neyvan. I like these road photos. Walter has them too.
This one is good ... it's a fine pov with the soft curve of the road leading the eye.There's a delicate light reflecting in the wet asfalt. Very nice.

Hello Neyvan,

Nice reflections in the wet asphalt road and I like the lead in lines and perspective offered by the curving road. A soft diffused light and lush tropical greenery everywhere you look. The blue high rise building top left contrasts well against the yellow green vegetation. The street light at left balances the 2 tall palm trees at right. Tfs!

até parece o dia em que estava lá, e chivia a toda hora...

linda vista com ótimo enquadramento. gostei do uso do verde do parque da arquitetura e da curva da avenida. bem feito.
tenho tido dificuldades para postar críticas, faço duas ou três e a página cai, me obrigando a voltar ao início e fazer log in. espero que seja algo relacionado ao site..

Hello Neyvan,
this picture has an attractive and interesting perspective, that sweeps the foreground and leads to the buildings in the distance. I like very much the combination of heavy, rainy mood and vivid, bright colours. The mirror-like texture of the road makes the scene lighter and more ageeable, it's great how the reflections of the headlights add a bright colour at a spot in the frame where it was needed. I think I would also enjoy the smell this scene evokes. Congratulations and thank you!
