Still A Quiet Place, a photo from Rio de Janeiro, Southeast

Photographer's Note

I took this photo three years ago, it is a nice and quite place at MacaÃƒÂ©. However the sourrondings are growing. Not showed here on the left side there is the big Schlumberger Limited the world's largest oilfield services company and at my back is placed the University City where 3 public University (including the UFRJ one of the biggest Universities of Brazil) that is still growing (now with 7 buildings, see maps).

So I belive that the place will change for the next years. I'm wating the temperature reduce to walk till there (a simple 0.33 miles walk) to see how this place is now. I hope it continues being a quiet place.

Hello Andre,

A very nice place to make a big stroll, you know picture have no date, what is three year for a picture.
A nice panorama sight about the area.
A wonderful clarity and sharpness, excellent captured.
Very well composition nice presentation too.

Hello Andre,

A tranquil scene with a marvellous blue sky backdrop. All the more appreciated when it is raining and overcast in Moldova. The lake with waterweed around the edges adds a fine focal point. Good sharpness and the clouds add interest to the sky. And not a soul in sight! Tfs.
