Photographer's Note

This is a shot taken on the way down from Pão de Açucar, from the same spot that I have taken Lights of Flamengo. I have taken many shots using a tripod and different exposures but I decided to work on this one.

There is a nice detail I like about this shot. The statue of Cristo Redentor, which is an icon of this beautiful city, is very clearly and brightly lit up due to the long exposure time I used. I think I could have done a better job on some of the other technicals but this was one of my first tripod and long exposure shots so with some feedback and further trials I am thinking of sharing better ones soon.

And I don't think I have to say much about Rio, the name and the shot is very much self-explanatory. Thanks for the feedback in advance.

[Tech: PS Curves, Brightness/Contrast, Apply Image, Hue/Sat, Exposure 10sec]
