these kids go to YACHAY WASI, an intercultural school in quito, ecuador. they are part of an alternative school system that combines modern techonology with ancient indigenous wisdom. a true jewel, in this very special school the kids learn to be proud of where they come from (they are migrant children from the country) and learn to cope with the shock of living in a big city like quito without losing their roots.
these three kids come from 3 different communties, but that is not an issue, they are friends regardless of any cultural difference. a real example for all of us.
