This is my third and last photo of this event this year, just to wish you all a Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!

Once more I'm posting a photo of the Nativity in Monsaraz, an event that attracts many visitors every year. It has around 40 real size characters, created by the sculptor Teresa Martins, that are placed all through the village. You can find them in the most amazing places. There are beggers sitting on the stairs of the church, a woman taking water from the well, women and children in the streets... This one was taken in the main square. The church is in the background and what we see behind the sculptures is the Christmas log - they burn it there every year.

Olá Ana,
ficou interessante as esculturas a orarem assim na frente da Igreja(?), que tem belas formas barrocas. Muito boa série sobre esse evento.

Olá Anabela,

Tens uma bela colecção com estes bonecos! Que por sinal ficam muito bem A PB! Como sempre está muito bem composta. Só faço dois reparos: é pena que o boneco mais à direita esteja na sombra, mas quanto a isso nada podias fazer, e acho que tem a perspectiva vertical invertida, ou seja, em vez de convergir em cima, diverge. Mas nada de grave.

Estava a ver se convencia a famelga a ir passear por lá, mas parece-me que não estão pelos ajustes. Ainda me dá na telha e vou sozinho!

Em Monsaraz o Natal é diferente pelo clima e pela decoracao.
Ate gostei da opcao a preto e branco apesar de ser uma epoca festiva muito colorida.
Excelente enquadramento.

You've presented these characters in a nice light/shade contrast. The first three added distance to the one with the kids and the church provided an adequate BG.

belo conjunto de personagens. Gostei da opção pelo B&P, gostei da luz e do pov. Acho que um corte na parte superior não faria mal à composição, deixando apenas as linhas das construções e concentrando a atenção nos bonecos. de qualquer modo é um belo trabalho
