Well this is the first common darter of the season they are nearly a month late this year,so this male perched on a twig hanging over his patch of water was a welcome sight. had real fun getting it apart from having to lean very carefully out over the water the camera battery decided it was time to run out so every time I linned the shot up the camera shut down eventualy it allowed me one pic and this is it hope you like.
Treatment of the pic was only a crop a check of levels and unsharp mask.
must admit you nearly got another dragonfly on the finger but this was the more difficult to obtain so thought it more valid as a picture,may post it anyway on a slow day.No dought you lot will let me know.
