Paradela De Guiâes a small village of the district of Vila Real , with a well aged population that if dedicates to the work in the field to the Wine of the Port.
The houses are almost old and of rock construction as the streets.

Fantástica imagem Gonçalo,
a textura e idade das casas nos remete a pensar que estamos na idade média.
O vinho do Porto é muito apreciado e valorizado aqui no Brasil.
Bom saber que esse prazer da mesa dos brasileiros (e do mundo todo) é produzido em comunidades históricas como esta.

Olá Gonçalo,
Bela imagem do Portugal rural profundo, áspero e rijo como o granito das casas. É uma bonita composição, que explora bem o grafismo, texturas e cor, ou quase ausência dela, das casas. Gosto do tratamento de cor e, embora o céu cinzento seja interessante e original, não estou certo se não ficaria mais atraente com um céu azulão.

I find the light and hues very appropriate for this record of ancient structures. I like the composition and the focus on the details of the stonework craftsmanship. It's sad to see the breeze blocks holding down the roof -- something I'm familiar with in Jamaica. What do you think are the chances are of these buildings surviving?

lembra um pouco a arquitetura dos palheiros da terra de meus pais, no centro do país, só que lá é zona do xisto. admiro muito a beleza rústica destas construções, uma pena que estão a ruir e ninguém faz muito para as salvar, o que mais se vê nas aldeias são aquelas casas de feiosas e de mau gosto que os imigrantes trouxeram em cópia da alemanha, suiça e frança.

Una foto muy pintoresca! Es de color, sin embargo parece como se fuesse en sepia! Es interesante saber que el pueblo es ocupado todavia! parece abandonado, pero hace una buena imagen con composiciòn y nitidez excelentes!

Sometime our sympathy goes to old beglected house, with memories along... the result bring up places shown, we normally not seeing as tourists.
