The early morning always presents wonderful opportunities for a good photo pretty much in any environment.
What looks dull in a day time becomes mysterious and serene. This is a Fitzroy Provincial Park not too far from Ottawa.

Quite a peculiar composition for its early morning atmosphere, the purple soft colour and that fog arising from the river. You managed to expose well both the river and the shadows and chose a good pov.
A very good work.

Good Morning Sam,

It is nice to see you posting again.
This is an amazing scene. You must have had a sharp intake of breath when you saw this!
The shot is very nicely composed with the river acting as a strong lead into the m/g. The trees help to funnel the view as they border the scene, and the leaning one, in the distance halts us like a traffic cop.
Of course, the most eye-catching feature, and the one we return to, is the rising mist. It gives a sort of supernatural impression!
