Photographer's Note

Railroad privatized by the Brazilian government. Without movement, great part of the railroads and facilities are deteriorating. This was built in 1921 - sees date in the top of the wall - in the district of Barra Grande, city of Avaré. It can be noticed the maintenance lack. The day was rainy. The children that appear, soon after I took the picture - Walking in the line... - Andando na linha...

Very nicely composed picture with a good perspective given by the tracks. This picture conveys a feeling of abandon and nostalgia, a forceful atmosphere.
It seems that the picture is slightly leaning to the right (but maybe it's a consequence of the wide angle). The light is quite sad and the color dull, maybe a B&W version would work too. I try it in a WS, hope you like it. However the patterns of dust and rust on the walls are quite nice.
I also feel your frame is a little too heavy for the picture.
Nice work anyway.

Bonita foto. O enquadramento ficou muito bom, mas acho que uma rotação bem de leve ainda melhoraria um pouco.

Que triste. É isso que está acontecendo com a grande maioria da rede de estrada de ferro. É uma pena. Bom motivo. Boa foto.

Me gusta el efecto dado por la magnifica DOF, la atmosfera parfecciera estar impregnada con el aroma de la lluvia reciente. Bravo José Reynaldo!

Foto muito bonita. Pelo que percebi, voce gosta de fotografar imagens relacionadas a ferrovia. Tambem tenho fascinio por esse meio de transporte considerado ultrapassado, mas tao atrativo.

Goste de trens, pena que não isso aqui na minha cidade. Gosta dos trilhos em linha convergente, apesar de estaticos cria uma ideia dinamica.
