After having dinner in my mothers house in coastal Noordwijk,my place of birth,I always make a small walk to the beach whatever the weather.
When ""eb""or low water accures,one can see surprises sometimes...

Good you went for the walk because this image you bright back is superb, well exposed against the sun to render plenty of details in the sand, and with the passing person to fix the eye, and last but not least this golden dominant is very nice

Het tegenlicht van de ondergaande zon geeft niet alleen een mooie gouden kleur aan de scene maar laat ook de textuur van het zand prachtig uitkomen, een plezier om naar te kijken.

Four major themes which I love: a charming sunset, a fantastic seascape with incredible refelctions on the ponds and even more fantastic patterns and textures in the sand, plus a single human figure to have a very fine and needed focal point - just near the sun!

I've been living in this country for 13 years and every single time I hit the beach at sunset, the sun is nowhere to be seen...
the texture and the light of the wet sand is simply amazing - the man walking across your visual is as thick a bonus as an abn amro manager's... :)

this is a very attractive photo, where you have also captured a wonderful sky, partially clear and partially covered by clouds. Mooie Nederlandse gallerij heb je. Deze heeft misschien minder dat typische, eerder universeel beeld, maar uiteindelijk is het toch net nog de deze die ik er (voorlopig) als favoriet uitpik. Erg knap werk, heel sfeervol.
